Since 2004, the City of Fort St. John's High on Ice Festival has become one of the premier winter events in Northeast BC. It takes place on Family Day long weekend in February and showcases international ice sculptors worldwide and various activities that celebrate and embrace winter.
One of the Festival's highlights is the Family Day Free Swim. This year, due to the COVID-19 restrictions, limited families enjoyed the Family Day Free Swim, so the City hosted more free family swims for the community. The most recent ones are International Women's Day, First Day of Spring, and Easter Monday.
Now families can spend more time together and have more fun!
